The church leaders during their last review meeting had set 13th December 2024 as a day to spend with children with disabilities from g their churches. As planned the church leaders today 13/12/2024 had a meeting with some of the parents of children with disabilities where experiences where shared and about 22 children had time to play in an inclusive environment with various toys. AHDI ZECREP had joined the church leaders as part of stakeholder engagement and awareness raising activities. The activity was held at “ word of love church” in Kanyama Mutanda Bantu area which is an open space and a lot of parents had approached the church leaders to inquire about the activity and those who had children with disabilities near by were able to express interest and were happy that such an activity was happening in their community.
